DEFIANCE
The sculpture is made in the form of a rhyton. Riton was a horn or a wide funnel-shaped drinking pot, in the form of a lowered down head of an animal.
Riton was decorated with engraving and inlay. Such
a pot was used in sacred rites, sacrifices or libations of wine in honor of the gods.
